Learn Bridge in a Day

This one-day session is normally offered two or three times a year. The next workshop will be offered on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm in the teaching room of our club at 2481 Kingsway Drive in Kitchener.

You’ll nail the basics of bridge in this interactive class that has both instruction and coached play. If you’re just starting, returning to the game or wanting to “test the waters” before taking formal lessons, this workshop is for you.

In just four hours, students will become confident with basic bidding, scoring, and the mechanics of play. Included in your registration is a 35-page student manual which walks beginning students through the history, mechanics, scoring, beginning bidding, and theory of bridge. The handouts include seven practice exercises and four practice hands for the students.

Your instructor is someone who plays bridge regularly and is fully committed to helping you learn and enjoy your day. By the end of the workshop, you will have learned some of the basics of the game.

The fee is $35 (includes HST).
