Learn Bridge in a Day

This one-day session is normally offered two or three times a year. The last workshop ran in January 2021. Look for announcements on our main page for future offerings.

You’ll nail the basics of bridge in this interactive class that has both instruction and coached play.  If you’re just starting, returning to the game or wanting to “test the waters” before taking formal lessons, this course is for you.

In just four to five hours, students become confident with basic bidding, scoring, and the mechanics of play.  Included in your registration is a 35-page student manual which walks a beginning student through the history, mechanics, scoring, beginning bidding and theory of bridge. The handouts include seven practice exercises and four practice hands for the students.

The course is offered on the ZOOM platform. Your instructor is someone who plays bridge regularly and is fully committed to helping you learn and enjoy your day.  By the end of the workshop you will have learned some of the basics of the game.
